PACE: Prowess Application for Credit Evaluation

Prowess Application for Credit Evaluation, or PACE, aims to improve efficiency in and reliability of the evaluation of corporate credit proposals in banks and NBFCs.

PACE delivers data on over 50,000 Indian companies. And, it provides an exceptional service to its customers.

Data of ten years is presented in over 800 neatly laid-out tabulations.

PACE enables comparison of a company’s performance with that of its peers and with the appropriate industry benchmarks. This is perhaps, the most powerful feature of PACE. PACE automatically finds the appropriate peers and generates the appropriate benchmarks.

PACE also provides scanned images of Annual Reports, charges on assets, interim financial results and Rating rationales.

The service element in PACE includes the following:

1. Creation of private customised reports for each bank as per its requirements. CMIE works closely with individual banks to incorporate custom-made reports into the PACE delivery exclusively for the bank. This ensures full deployment of the service into the bank’s operations.
2. Addition of companies to suit the needs of individual credit officers in the bank. PACE offers an online facility wherein a subscribing official of the bank can make a request for the addition of companies into PACE. This ensures that PACE is directly useful to bank officials.
3. Priority updation of companies listed by the subscribing credit officers. Subscribing bank officials can request priority updation of data for specified companies through an online interface.
