Deadline for filing tax audit report extended till 7 Oct 2022

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the due date for filing tax audit report for the Assessment Year 2022-23 by seven days to 7 October 2022. It has cited difficulties faced by the taxpayers and other stakeholders in the filing of various reports of audit for fiscal 2021-22 as the reason for extending the deadline.
