Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi has stated that each state must recognise its strength, define its target and develop a roadmap to make India a USD 5 trillion economy. According to him, urban areas will be key in future development and employment generation. Therefore, urban local bodies must be strengthened and urban planning should be done innovatively, he added.
