India's growth remains quite robust into the future: IMF

Though the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has slightly revised downwards India’s economic growth rate for 2018 and 2019 [see here], it still believes that India’s growth remains quite robust into the future. The IMF has attributed the downward revision to the negative effects of higher oil prices on domestic demand and faster than-anticipated monetary policy tightening due to higher expected inflation.
